I don't have kids -- I bought these to pin a cashmere sweater a towel...the sweater was shrunk in the washing machine, and this was the only way to stretch it out, without it loosing its form.Once that was done, I used it to pin the duvet into my duvet liner, as the duvet was forever slipping out of it, and I got tired of having to readjust it nightly.

These pins work perfectly for us!!! My kids wrestle, and when they win a match by pin - they receive one of these pins. The pins are then added to their wrestling backpacks as sort of a badge of honor to show how many they have received.

I bought these to tighten up the waistbands of my slacks. I am loosing weight and I don't want to buy new clothes til I am at my goal weight. These pins have an extra little edge that holds the pointed piece of metal in place. I don't have to worry that it will come loose and stick me. I have also ordered a second set.

I like these. They are not easy to open thanks to their trap like needle guard. I will use these for my kid's loose clothes and will not need to worry about decency issues any more.
