Used this on a trip and it worked great. The only negative was that when standing from a seated position, the clip popped open twice in 15 days of use. Maybe my belt pressed against the clip? had it on my left hip which positioned the clip at my front. This probably wouldn’t have happened if I positioned the pack directly in front of me which would have placed the clip on my right side. I just started wearing it cross body instead.

The title pretty much says it all. When I got it I was shocked at how small the pouch is. When you open it, it is a full size fanny pack that is quite functional, lightweight, comfortable, well built and a pretty slick design. Really like it, but it is pretty hard to get the thing folded up back neatly into a pouch. It usually ends up looking like a ball when packed rather than a nice rectangular zippered pouch. Maybe there's a good way to fold it up that I'm not aware of and if there is, osprey should put a video tutorial on their site or on Amazon here to show you how to fold it up, like a certain technique such as the way you would fold up a parachute for instance. Other than that, it's pretty boss but I think it's also a little too expensive for what it is.

I have owned a wide variety of Osprey waist packs and prefer the light weight and inconspicuous size of this model...However, the waist strap releases under strain. This is probably a safety feature but it releases while straining on hikes. Osprey, please reconsider design of the plastic buckle.

I missed the part that said collapsible. When I received the package it was in its collapsible state. Didn’t open the package because not for me.

What a great general use waist pack. Started using it while fishing and at the campsite, but now I rock this thing grocery shopping in the burbs. Typically holds a knife, wallet, phone, and keys. My only wish is that it had a thicker waist strap so it was more comfortable over long periods.

Thoroughly recommend this bum bag. Use on all my travels. Looks like new, packs away to nothing. Excellent zips which never catch and really useful inside pocket. Front zip pocket fits an iPhone. Suncream etc in main one. Keys / money in hidden smaller one. Perfect for travelling.
