This lamp is the identical one as supplied from microscope manufacturers Olympus, Leica etc. The internal packaging is slightly different but the product is identical. Should be noted that these lamps previously came with 200 hour lifetime; however, this version is 300HR representing excellent value. I will definitely continue to purchase this product as long as available.

These bulbs work great. The older technology out-performs the newer non-mercury bulbs hands down in terms of how bright it is. Fits perfectly into a first-generation Zeiss AxioSkop. Here's hoping the design never changes.

Used as replacement for a Leica fluorescent microscope and works great. WAY cheaper than ordering through Leica or Fisher.
