Your cart is empty.The OTC 7508, pry bars can damage expensive aluminum transmission cases, and attempting to do the job by pulling on the axis can damage the roller bearing inside the C.V. joint. With this puller, the axle assembly is popped out of the trans-axle without damage, thanks to the straight, even pull provided by the slide hammer.

I just used this part to remove the CV axle shaft on a Toyota I was working on. Fit and finish were consistent with OTC standards and the part worked well. It gives some additional reach when trying to use the slide hammer in tight confines and can take any of the various attachments used on the end of the slide hammer itself. Buyers should note that this part is octogon in shape and one can use a wrench to tighen it to the slide hammer shaft. Used in conjunction with the OTC seal puller, this is a toolbox winner!

well I thought 42$ for a foot long piece of metal was a bit much but I was desperate..This thing turned 2 hours of frustration into about 5 minutes of work, pulling a rusty axle off a ford escort.But when you get it in your hands it's obviously solid and well-made. I should have just bought it straight off, instead of all the homemade rigs I tried, which all failed.I used it with a axle puller extension, skipping the locknut to get more space, and really banged it hard, but no damage at all to the threads. I was impressed.

The product works and it gives the user some extra leverage to pull what’s needed to come out, like a stubborn cv axle joint.

It worked perfect. Needed an extender for the slide hammer I bought cause it was a little short. This fit correctly and felt as sturdy as the slide hammer unit.

This fit beautifully on my OTC slide hammer. It allowed me to get the hammer itself out from the wheel well of the car so I could get a straight pull. The CV joint popped out nicely even though the CV puller (different vendor) was too fat so I had to use the vise grip attachment. A little pricey for a piece of metal, but I guess it is heavy to ship.

Gives the slide hammer the added length when it's needed. Threads onto my OTC slide hammer kit with ease. Item came in a large cardboard box, I assume to prevent damage to the item. The shaft is hexagonal, which makes it easier to thread this onto the slide hammer. Also fits in the slide hammer kit, so makes storing it a breeze.

Perfect fit for several different slide hammers. Use with 5-7 pounders a 10 pound with axle fork tool bent it slightly ( my bad.) Otherwise it's pretty tough.
