Opening jars can be extremely frustrating, especially for those with weaker grip strength. The Otstar Jar Opener make the process so much easier, although as others have noted the jar twist part of the tool is really limited to smaller jars. In other words, it's great for most of the world, but a lot of American products come in larger lids than the size options provided.BUT - where this product shines are the hooks on the top edge of the tool. Those make it so much easier to open jars by releasing the air pressure when used on the top part of lids. I'm sure there are other tools which accomplish this task just as easily, but the process just felt much more simplified with this jar opener. I'm sure I'll find more use cases for the rest of the tool eventually, but I found that just that part alone was worth the purchase.

Made of hard plastic which is very durable, easy to use, comfortable for arthritic hands, functionality is good slip assistant. Would recommend. Easily opens bottles/cans.

I just got this jar opener tool yesterday and have already used it multiple times—for pickles, canned veggies, and kimchi. It makes opening almost any size jar a breeze. This tool was intended for someone in my life with muscle weakness and poor dexterity, but the average joe would absolutely benefit to have this in his kitchen as well. Why struggle when you don’t have to? Highly functional and ergonomic. Easy to store and takes up very little space in the drawer. I absolutely love it and should’ve bought it sooner.

For the most part this is a great tool. The best feature being able to pop open glass jars with ease. The only down side is the smallest setting does not help open bottles worth small lids, which is one of the reasons I purchased this. . Still have to struggle with that.

This works well on almost every jar size. I have tendonitis so it’s difficult to open jars and this helps quite a bit. It’s easy to use and a simple design.

It can lift flaps on cans, tins, open jars bottles with a breeze no difficulties. Cleaning is very simple quality is really good could have better grip on the handles, worth the Money, this gadget definitely helps with those struggles to open jars and really recommend for those with arthritic hands as well
