The bulb flickered when bulb installed. The bulb was separated from its packaging in the box. The box is in good condition.I’m being charged shipping to return.I won’t order from this seller, again

I researched Ottlite replacement bulbs extensively before ordering this one. The Ottlite site did not have the exact bulb number which was on the original bulb as it was out of production. (I have had the lamp for quite a few years.) This bulb had the exact description of the original bulb which was included with the lamp purchase but did not quite fit. I wiggled it in the socket - got on (1) flash and the bulb died. The lesson to be learned - if you buy an Ottlite lamp, it would be wise to purchase a replacement bulb or 3 if you think you will use the lamp for several years as Ott does NOT continue to produce replacement bulbs. I give them ZERO stars for support (even though the orginal lamp itself was very good).

Does what it is designed to do. Suggestion: As you remove the old bulb, carefully observe how it fit into the socket. That will help you line up the replacement and make installation even quicker.How I wish the one for the floor lamp didn't cost $20 more!

I ordered this 13 watt replacement lamp for an OttLite desk lamp that I have had for a number of years. The lamp had finally ceased to function after several years use so I was already quite familiar with what to expect from this 13 watt lamp. I was certainly not disappointed as the replacement is just as good as the original.

It is remarkable that I am able to buy a replacement bulb for my 25 year old Ott light that fits perfectly in my workspace. I did not want to try a find a replacement lamp. With the new bulb, hopefully, I will get another 25 years of light.

Brought this bulb to replace the burnt out bulb in my desk tidy OttLite which I brought from HobbyCraft many years ago. I was a bit nervous incase it wasn’t the right one especially for the price, but it is the exact one I needed, phew… Very happy with it. Will probably order again so I have spare at home.

I was extremely disappointed and frustrated to receive an Ottlite bulb in a package that had been opened and retaped shut and the light didnt work when I plugged it in to my lamp. Basically a waste of $25.00.. its a waste of time and energy to try to send it back to get my money back..just frustrated that people send out garbage and pretend it's a new product. I feel scammed and cheated
