These wireless adapters still have a long way to go in improvements. The $150 price tag is STEEP for what you get. Difficult to connect. Music stutters often and the delay in the music is sad. I’m going back to wired CarPlay without hesitation.

This adapter has worked really well for me. Set up was a breeze. I'm able to stream on my car screen for my kids which has been so nice. The adapter isn't very big, so it doesn't take up much space. I haven't had any issues with connection dropping. I've had several adapters by this brand and have been highly satisfied with all of them.

Plug and Play is an accurate description here. Set up was super simple. I've not had any major issues with connection loss, the audio is great, and the box itself is small and unobtrusive.

I've tried out several car play adapters in the last few months and I've noticed that they are consistently the exact same device just with a different brand slapped on them. This Ottocast unit is different in a lot of ways but primarily in that it just works. Several of the adapters I tried had connection issues and audio lag problems but the mx did not suffer from any of those problems. It is truly plug and play and has continued working without issue
