The car was hard starting out of the blue. Id seen MAF sensors cause this in the past so I replaced the MAP sensor. The hard starting problem turns out was the ECT(coolant sensor)..as the car later in the day threw a PO118 before it became VERY hard to start. New ECT fixed that immediately but shifting was still rough..until I replaced the MAP sensor, which took literally, 3 minutes to do.Car used to not kick into 2nd gear easily and had to tromp on it to 3rd to get acceleration. Now, shifts normally through 1st into 2nd.Note this 97 CR-V has 530K miles on it so sensors are going to fail, probably alot.

after a p0171 code and my 98 accord stalled backfired etc. i installed this, no change. missed 2 days work. moved onto the next 2 parts 300.00 more. found an old throttle body in my trunk, used car with origional denzo map sensor still on it. installed all problems fixed. denzo is hondas oem parts. please pay more and fix your issues fast. you will pay more if you dont.

Worked ok, not as good as oem. it completely died 6 months after installation, 4 months the car sat non op basically died after 2 months (drove 5k miles)
