HOW IT WORKS:
The exact reason that these pebbles can give off light in darkness is that they can absorb and store light, either natural or artificial, especially visible light of wavelength under 450 NM.
When in darkness, these pebbles give off light that is visible and fairly bright during the first 2-3 hours. Then they became less and less bright as there is no light around for them to absorb. The dim afterglow can last 8-10 hours.
How much the glow is visible at some degree depends on how dark the surrounding is, the darker the more glow can be seen.
When there is visible light around, these pebbles begin another circle of absorbing-giving off light .
Actually these pebbles give off light at the daytime too, but only far less visible as in darkness.
So, when you first receive these pebbles, they might not glow in darkness, because they might have given off all light they absorbed in dark package box. Put them under light sources for 5-10 minutes, they glow in complete darkness again.
In theory, these self-luminous pebbles can function for up to 15 years.

Warm tips:
The darker the surrounding and the more exposure to visible light, the more bright glow can be seen.
When applying these glow pebbles, do not stack them on top of each other but spread them out flat for full exposure to light.
These glow in the dark pebbles are light up by solar or LED light.
How much sunlight do these need per day to light up every night?
two - three hours. They'll still glow even when the sun isn't strong.

They look really nice in the fish tank. They are a very pretty shade of blue when the light is on, and they glow for a very long time when you shut the lights off.

I bought these about a year or two ago and placed them on a pathway outside my cabin and they still glow. They are not crazy bright unless under blacklight but theyre visible from just sunlight activation! The more you have in an area the more noticeable, and if you are able to use a blacklight to "charge" them they glow brighter than from sun exposure. Definitely not real stone but they look great and the color hasnt seemed to fade.

They look cool at night just wish they were a bit brighter I’ve tried several different types of light to charge them just like they recommended but it’s not as bright as I thought they would be

Hard like any other rock I mixed these with other small rocks like them to put outside around my stepping stone. They are still holding up and not breaking even though they are outside.

Just got them and they were out in the bright sun all day and nothing glowed. Returning for my money back. It’s up to you if you want to try it but my batch were duds.

These decorative stones glow for a while when the lights are off,and so based on that fact they don't give you good value for the money spent.If they were priced at a cheaper price then it's worth buying them.
