I’ve seen these little adapters in use and thought it would be handy and convenient to use in our many DIY projects around our home. The concept of these units is simple: You put the extended bit on the drill, slip the drill into the shaft and secure it, and begin screwing. Pressing down on the spring-loaded adapter, it will advance the auto feed (collated) screws. However, this unit did not fit either my cordless DeWalt XRP nor my corded Skil 6238. There was no adapter ring provided to make it fit. A suggestion: The seller might wish to include an adapter in future sales to make the unit more versatile for various models of electric drills. In addition, no instructions were included; I had to figure it out by watching a few YouTube videos! Again, a suggestion that a simple set of instructions might be useful. On the positive side, pressing down on the spring loaded unit did indeed advance the collated screw strip. I would love to give this a higher rating than three stars, but these are my reasons.

This screw gun attachment is not terrible. I attached it to my drill, and it worked pretty well. There are no directions included so you are on your own to figure that out. There is some kind of depth adjustment on there which didn't seem to have much effect. All in all, this is not the worst purchase I have ever made but not sure it will last very long so I probably would not buy again.
