Love this! Cannot say enough great things about it. Used it as a main power source for my outdoor Halloween and Christmas decorations/lights. For Christmas I just switched it to dusk/dawn setting and it does it all for me! Love so much I got one for my 83 year old mother for her inside lamps in her living room, the remote hangs on her side table lamp switch and she loves being able to turn off everything with the click one small button instead of having to turn each lamps in/off spindle which is hard in arthritic fingers & hands. Perfect for decorating, or to make your inside life more functional whether you’re in you’re 10 or 99 years of age. Highly recommend this specific product purchased with my own money.

This product works exceptionally well for Christmas Lights. The remote control is great! This product is easy to use. I would definitely recommend this product. I can turn my Christmas Lights on and off with the remote from inside my home. I can also set a timer for the lights to come on and go off automatically.

I bought this a couple of years ago to easily control my outdoor holiday lights. It works exactly as described. I do have to make sure the device doesn't get hidden behind the shrub in front of the outdoor electrical outlet, but I can secure it on a front door shutter to keep it exposed to the natural light cycle. The remote is a handy plus if you want daily timing flexibility, but in my case, I just want the lights on at dusk and off 6 hours later. Once you've programmed the timing on the main device, you don't need the remote.

The sensor interfered with my requirements; I followed the instructions 6 times. I believe that this product is capable of turning on and off without using the light sensor.. Y work around was simple enough: wrap some black electric tape to cover the sensor. But I should not have to do this. Also, the orientation of the plug prongs may be a problem. Your receptacle may need to be rotated 180°. I know I'm being picky, but NEC code requires outdoor GFCI outlets to be enclosed in a weather-tight box. If the product plug has to be upside-down, the thick cord of the product may not fit. You might need a handyman to rotate the outlet. It's usually not a big deal if you know your way around basic electrical work (Youtube can be excellent to learn about this)It would be a hazard and irresponsible not to use this product without a GFCI protected circuit in a wet location.Otherwise, it appears to be a perfectly acceptable product that I would buy again or recommend to a client.

Doesn't work for me, maybe for you. It only worked manually not when using the remote or the buttons on top.

Used it over holiday to avoid going outside to turn Xmas lights on and off.
