I would have given this a 5 star rating had it not been for the 1 wire that disconnected from the connector during installation. It was easy enough to fix, 30 seconds with a soldering iron and it was as good as new. Too bad I had to spend 30 minutes digging out the soldering iron and solder.

Works as intended. Reused the metal backing plate from the original. Terminals were strongly soldered from what I could tell. All functions worked properly. Bought a trail spare as well.

I broke a pin on the remote connector on my RC 9500, rendering the winch useless. This was an inexpensive repair. Very easy to open the cover on the winch and replace with this part. The inner connector fit the winch perfectly - no wire splicing needed. The rubber cover was a bit thicker than the OEM, so I kept the original cover.I highly recommend keeping one of these as a spare for repairs on the trail.

Drop in replacement for my old controller plug on the winch. Only change I did was use original screws instead of supplied ones
