Amazingly, this has become my daily driver espresso machine. It provides a competent shot of espresso from a completely portable machine. This is a vast improvement over nespresso pods or the smaller basket that come with the outin machine, and rather amazing for the size of the machine. My biggest gripe is that, as other have said, the kit only comes with one basket. In order to make more than one shot at once, you must empty a boiling hot metal basket of spent grinds. Also, while it is mostly trivial to knock a spent puck from a basket that has rested from some time, extracting the grinds from a hot basket is a messy affair that involves scraping the grinds out or blasting them with water. This is unacceptable, and why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5.Also important- grind and shot size are critical to getting a good pull. Get these wrong and crema and flavor are heavily impacted. A digital scale with accuracy to 1 decimal point scale is necessary to use this basket. I've found that a good starting point is 17-18 grams of illy's pre-ground espresso or decaf. This should give a consistent, tasty cup, and a starting point for experimentation with other beans and grinds.

I got it as a combo order so I could try it out.The coffee maker does not have enough pressure or even heat to do a double shot using this. You have to fine tune the grind settings to get it done perfectly. It’s just too much hassle for something portable.It’s a good buy for prosumers who want more and don’t mind tinkering.

My wife and I just recently purchased the OutIn on-the-go Espresso maker, and literally our only gripe would be that the filter basket provided. The basket is incredibly small (which is to be expected) but it makes it difficult to add your coffee grounds without making a mess. Additionally the scoop supplied doubles as your tamper (which being a plastic thin scoop doesn't allow for a lot of pressure).Enter the Outin Nano Kit. THIS....this is what should come with the OutIn but I can see why it's sold as a separate accessory. Honestly don't even bother with the provided basket and tamper of your Outin and just add this to your cart at the same time, TRUST ME!.All materials are stainless steel and BPA free so you don't have to worry about longevity/durability. The basket is bigger, able to hold 16-18g of ground coffee, and the doser and tamper are such a convenience and familiar setup for those a little more serious about their coffee.

Es stimmt, dass Teile des Coffefilters und der Basket aus Edelstahl sind. Wie aber schon in einer anderen Rezension geschrieben sind die meisten Teile (Tamper, Doser und Portafilter) aus Alu. Ich finde das keineswegs nachteilig, sondern aus Gewichtsgründen für Reisen vollkommen in Ordnung. Entgegen der anderen Rezension ist eine Nachbehandlung der Aluteile keineswegs notwendig. Der Hersteller gibt jedoch ein falsches Material an. Trotzdem ein gutes Produkt.

Love this accessory!!! Just make sure you treat it as a normal none pressurized filter for your grinds. And it will give you lots of creama.
