If you're hesitating at all about whether to invest in this or not, just get it. Look, I know, it's not inexpensive, but you won't regret it.I'm a latte addict. Triple shot latte to be precise. At home I rely on a Nespresso machine. When I travel, I have a "portable" latte kit with devices in the smallest reasonable size I could find to boil water, froth milk, and make espresso. I originally equipped my kit with a manual version of one of these - it's basically the same size and also uses capsules, but you have to boil water and then hand pump it to make the espresso. I got it because when I was assembling the kit, I didn't want to spend the big $ to get an electric portable espresso maker. That turned out to be a big mistake. Hand pumping 3x in a row gets really tedious, really quickly, to say nothing of it being time conusming. I finally caved and got this one on sale during Prime Days. Worth every penny. It works like a charm. I've only used it with hot water so far (i.e. haven't tested it for heating the water), but I love that I have the option to start with cold water if the need arises I've brewed quite a few cups so far and still haven't really made a dent in the battery. It brews quickly and hassle free, with a nice crema at the end.A few weeks ago a part on my Nespresso at home broke and I was panicked about what to do while I was awaiting a replacement part. Then I had an aha moment that I had this device, and all was right in the world again while it saved me as a backup to my machine at home until my home machine could be fixed.

Purchased the Outin Nano to use on a trip to the Marshall Islands and wanted make sure I had good coffee. Along with the Nano I purchased a hot water maker about the same size, and a food storage jar to bring some espresso ground coffee. So far I’ve made 60+ shots with my setup and love the portability and convenience of this setup.Pros:1. If you heat your water separately, the battery lasts forever.2. Great tasting shots if you get your fill amount and tamp right.3. Ultimate portability and build quality is very good.Cons:1. The little scoop is very easy to lose and I don’t think you can buy a replacement from Outin.2. No fill line for coffee, makes it hard to be consistent.3. If you use it to heat the water it needs to be charged frequently.Overall I love this thing, total game changer for someone that loves good coffee and travels frequently. I was pleasantly surprised with the build quality and functionality of the Outin Nano, definitely buy if you need a portable espresso machine!

The OutIn Nano Portable Electric Espresso Machine is a compact, travel-friendly espresso maker that delivers surprisingly strong and smooth shots. It’s lightweight, well-built, and can make up to 5 cups on a single charge. The machine heats up quickly, creates a nice crema, and works with both pre-ground coffee and pods. For its size, it provides a great espresso experience on the go. Ideal for those who want quality coffee while traveling or outdoors.I only like espresso coffee and I used to suffer when I traveled and just have the regular american coffee machine in the hotel. Now I bring my machine everywhere. The only con for me is that it doesn't show how much battery is left.

I’ve been using the Outin Nano Portable Espresso Maker for both camping trips and work travel, and it’s been a game-changer compared to hotel coffee or overpriced commercial coffee shops. The ability to switch between fresh ground coffee and Nespresso pods makes it incredibly versatile, and it’s easy to pack light while still enjoying great espresso. The biggest win here is the built-in heating element, which means I can make espresso anywhere without needing to preheat water separately—a huge plus when camping. While it’s great that it accepts both ground coffee and pods, I’ve found that it makes significantly better espresso with fresh ground beans. The crema, richness, and overall flavor are just better than what I get from pods, though the pod option is nice for quick, mess-free brewing on the go.For a device designed for travel, it’s ridiculous that it doesn’t come with a case. You’d expect some kind of carrying pouch to keep it protected in a backpack or suitcase, but instead, you’ll have to find your own storage solution or buy the official case that only comes in white/gray. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely an oversight. If you travel frequently and want a compact, easy-to-use espresso maker that delivers solid results, the Outin Nano is a fantastic option. Just be prepared to bring your own storage case, and if you want the best espresso, stick to fresh ground coffee over pods.

Bought as a Christmas gift. My husband couldn’t wait to try it. He said the coffee even tasted sweeter than the hand pump espresso machine I bought him a few years ago. Seems like it build well, feels good in your hand. He said the brewing capacity is smaller than he’s used to but glad there’s attachments or accessories to make the capacity bigger. Cleans easy. Electric pump works decently fast, love the fact you can use cold water and it will give it temperature but also depends on the battery level, or you can use hot water. I love that it comes with the options for making your own espresso or a pod. Wish the cases weren’t as expensive. But he’s happy. I wanted to give him a gift of espresso on the go since he is always traveling for work. He takes these all over the world. Will post updates as he uses this more.

The quality is excellent. The size is convenient but slightly heavy. It is easy to clean. It can use both capsules and ground coffee powder, which is the main reason I love it. Highly recommend.

Size of a small vacuum flask and probably about the same weight so easily portable in a back pack. It will brew espresso from ground coffee or nespresso pods. The battery lasts 3 to 4 espressos using cold water straight from the tap before it gives up-water from a bottle that has reached ambient temperature might give a bit more.Using hot water from a vacuum flask brews a whole lot more, the flask capacity becoming the limiting factor rather than the battery.Even when using cold water, brewing is quick and the hopper and filter are easy to clean out for the next brew. All good and very easy to make “espresso with view”.
