Quite a chore to assemble unless you are very familiar with bikes. I'm not. For the money, it's a very good bike. It will help a lot if you have your own tools. The directions are terrible.... you need a microscope to read them. I used them very very little and mostly just figured it out. Not for off road or steep hills. Even low gear is tough. I'm putting a front hub motor on mine.

I bought this tricycle for my grandsons. I bought two because I was so impressed with the quality for the price. They couldn't ride a two wheeler because of balance, but got on these and love them.They are solid, easy to control, 7 speeds, and very nice looking tricycles.I got a red one, and a blue one. Both 👠GREAT!! I'd recommend this tricycle for anyone.

Wow. Where to start. I had to wait a couple days to write a review just to calm down. The biggest problem with this bike isn't the chain that they have you physically link together(which is not easy), nor is it the brake linbes that they have you run and connect/build yourself. No, the biggest problem is that the directions and video do not match the bike. It is a different bike than the instructions have with different hardware and some things are preassembled and some things aren't (non of which match the instructions). They actually had extra hardware on the bike preassembled and tightened, by the way, that were actually required to loosen and take off and not use. It actually seems like they purposely want to make it extremely difficult to assemble. I spent 6 hours on assembly and got to step 12 out of 15. With also not being able to complete step 4 of the chain link assembly. I had to take it to the bike shop and pay to have it assembled the rest of the way. On top of that, the bike leans to the right and isn't easy to peddle as the peddles almost hit the front tire. So, the design is flawed too. 2 stars is generous
