**UPDATED** I can't give it FIVE stars, it is a gift. I gave it FOUR because it seems like it will last. The brush it came with looks like decent quality. If you have chef in your family I think it makes a nice gift. **UPDATE** The gift was very well received, my nephew was very impressed with it. He said he had tried several other pans and they weren't out so well, he feels confident this is exactly what he needed.

This is a nice heavy pot, but the brush nests too firmly! I Cook the sauce in this pot, so the brush handle gets Hot....with an oven mitt it is not possible to pry the brush out....I pry it up with a knife so I can grab it. A small problem, but overall this is a nice set. I will probably cut-off the pot handle a bit so the brush handle sticks out and can be grabbed. The pot was made in China, I assume the brush was as well....it was not marked. Hope it lasts....!

My son is awesome at the bbq and smoker. I bought this so he could keep his homemade bbq sauce right on the grill while cooking and the basting brush is right there nestled in. He Loves it, and I can't wait for him to bbq some ribs. Good heavy cast iron pot, don't know if the handle on the basting brush will get to warm to hold in a bare hand. Will update once he tries it out. Very happy with seller, item and how fast it came. Will purchase another one if this one works out well, he likes to do a few different sauces at a time.

It does a great job. I always wash it out, dry promptly, and coat with coconut oil to keep it from rusting.

It's not the biggest sauce pot, but I wanted something I can occasionally leave directly on the grill without taking too much space. This fits the bill. Some people complain that the brush is too short, but I use safety gloves anyway since I leave the pot on the grill. Therefore it doesn't bother me. I like the no-mess result, though. Plus the sauce is kept warm and bugs are kept away. If I want more sauce, I'll bring some more from the kitchen when it runs out.
