After selecting this grass seed, I am thrilled with the results. The lawn handles the Colorado Springs climate well, and returns vibrant green each Spring.

People overlook fall seeding. This seed did very well! It actually grew couple inches b4 winter set in and it's beautiful new grass green had my yard looking good early! I planted in October and it's now March, it has grown in all forms of sun light even the little to no sunlight where I had trouble growing grass.Ok I would like to add, yes it does need a lot of moisture to get going, but it is well worth it. It just keeps showing up now that my spring watering has kicked in. I had 90% germination from October to March but the other 10% is now here. I'm editing this because I am here to buy more for my back yard!

Beautiful grass, saw tiny blades poking up after about a week and a half. Needs water every day, probably should be twice a day. We’re in central NC and planted in late April. Okay germination in most of the yard, first time doing a lawn this property has been covered with pine needles only for years. It was actually thickest and happiest in a surprising are of the yard - the most shady place with the least thorough scraping of yard waste. Takes a ton of work but the grass itself is so beautiful, dark green and luxurious looking.

I had some bare spots in the yard so wanted to fill those in. Didn’t want to rent an aerator though, so I did the lazy man’s version… sprayed the area with water to soften up the dirt, spread seeds, and rake over itThis was in Atlanta in July where temps were bumping up against 100° so it’s hotter than the seed is recommended for. Even so, about a week later with regular watering the spots were filling in nicely. Just mowed it for the first time yesterday and it looked to be about 4†tall and very thick already. Will be overseeing a few more times over the next 12 months to get everything just right, but this seed is well worth it.

The grass came in well, but was not at all like the photo. It said three blend, but only two types grew. One is a fine, dark green, 2†blade that doesn’t grow any taller the other is a lime green thick blade that grew tall, over 8†in random spots. It resembled new corn plants. I hand pulled all of the tall grass, it took about four hours and hope I’m successful. I’m not sure what I will over seed with or how the short grass will thrive or if it will fill in. Because they pulled out in plugs, I will need to regrade. What a mess!

These worked well in a medium dry shade. Nice affordable mix of fine fescues.

Beautiful grass but does not do well in Nothing summer heat. Poor rooting ability. I'm zone 7.
