This is the best crucible i have used so far!!!Melted steel in a coal fired foundry. No problem. The crucible steel was allowed to solidify in the crucible. Chipped the slag off the top, and the steel came out fairly easily without breaking the crucible! It's ready for another melt. Can't say all of this for any other crucible I have tried! I bought 3 so far, and will buy more when needed!Awesome seller! Awesome crucible!

This is a very nice thick crucible. The price was good enough to get an extra, and I found it to be the same excellent quality as the one that comes with an actual forge. If you need an extra crucible, then this is a really good option. It doesn't come with anything else, it's just this, And I found it to be exactly what I was hoping for!

I got this to replace a crucible I have that is cracked and it works great and is the exact same size as the one it is replacing. No complaints!
