The entire steamer is stackable where both cooking containers and the base all stack within each other.This means everything will stack within the largest clear bowl. This makes it very easy to travel with it especially considering that the heating base will fit inside of the largest clear bowl.The timer works super as well as the steamer. The only missing item that I can see is that it does not have a bell when it finishes but the light does turn off.I travel with this steamer because it is easy to pack in a suitcase or bag but it is also super for regular kitchen use.I highly recommend this steamer. The two cooking bowls holds quite a bit of food, plenty for two people.

I was looking for something like this because you can cook several things at the same time. I have a single steamer that is way to inconvenient, because vegetables don't cook to well. This electric food steamer is perfect, as you can get more done at once.

I chose this steamer for two reasons. Storage space - this steamer is very small, and the dials, unlike many today which are printed on the item and then fade away with time are actually etched onto the dial.It works great. It has two baskets and I actually steamed a giant bunch of swiss chard using both baskets and it does a good job. The only thing I don't like is just a minor thing and that is the steam/plant juice runs back into the reservoir. Thats not a problem but my other steamer had a tray which collected this juice so you could throw it out. If you don't empty the reservoir after each use the juice will mold. So I just have to remember to throw it out after each use. No Big Deal really.

This steamer is great for one or two people, but it's extremely small. It wouldn't work for a family. I love it. It's compact and works well, but I cook for myself so it's perfect for me.

Never knew how much I needed a steamer until diagnosed with severe kidney damage. Started a life-saving plant based diet and steaming turned out to be the cleanest, healthier means of preparing meals. The base holds enough water to steam for 30 minutes. The plastic steaming baskets seem to be thin plastic but they are of very good quality if handled properly. I use the bottom basket for items like fish, carrots, brussels sprouts and the top basket for broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, green beans etc. I usually season after steaming. Cleanup is a snap. I wash the plastic baskets by hand with soap and water. The water reservoir is carefully cleaned, removing any water stains. Do not submerse in water. This steamer is excellent for what I need to eat healthy. I am cooking for one person but the steamer has room for much larger quantities. I highly recommend this great steamer and for the price, is great value.

It is a fast way to steam. The only thing is that the plastic material change from transparent to white. It turns a little disgusting. Like you never clean it. I don’t know why. But it keeps doing its job perfectly. That’s why my 5 starts
