I like these storage solutions. By providing this rack hardware,I chose to build my own platform for my gear.I used 1x6x8 tongue n groove pine and bonded them with strips to hold them solid. I used 1x2 strips to attach the frame to. My garage joists are 4 foot span.Like this. It works!

Product seems a bit flimsy for the weight it is rated for. The hardware they sent to mount it was not correct according to the instructions and my past experience. They sent 1" x 1/8 lag bolts with anchors that werent the correct size for the lag bolts they sent. the instructions say mount with 2.5 " 5/16 lag bolts so I had to go to the hardware store to buy the correct hardware.

This is EXACTLY what I needed! I was able to store everything I needed to store and it's not taking up valuable floor space!

Instead of actual bolts shown in the photo, someone put drywall anchors, which would not have worked. I needed to go to the hardware store to purchase bolts. The frame is very solid and is holding some heavy tools now.

We picked this up to hand things in the garage. We'll likely put boards between these and store totes from this. This would also work for a narrow kayak or an extension ladder. Quality wise, the metal is ok, but not overkill by any means (read just sturdy enough). The paint job is solid, and this is free from imperfections. Overall we like this, but it'll be some time before we can hang out. My biggest complaint with this are the provided lag screws; they are pretty short if you need to mount through drywall. You'll likely need longer ones.If anything goes wrong, I'll update this review.

Easy to install. Hanger kit from dehumidifier mfg was twice the cost

Be careful with products from over seas as i keep finding discrepancies in manuals vs the product being sold. This manual wants 2 lag screws at 5/16x2 1/2†when the screw provided is actually 5/16x1 1/4â€. I’m so glad I caught this because the amount of screw that would have been in the wood, would not have been enough to safely hold the weight.
