This is a boring product, frankly I am surprised I found it on Amazon. I use it to reinforce wood turnings, like large clocks, lazy Susans, and platters that have split during the drying process. Just mill a narrow groove along the outside edge of the turning, add a drop of cyanoacrylate or fast cure epoxy to anchor the end, and slowly wrap this glass fiber into the groove with slow cure epoxy until almost full. clip the end and allow to cure as the work slowly rotates to prevent runs. It makes me feel much safer at higher lathe speeds and also stabilizes the wood, which is fantastic for larger diameters, particularly clocks that will get personalized engravings and inlays. You can finish it either with colored epoxy or metal powder inlay. I'm sure it has many other uses, but this is how I consume it.
