After a bad experience with the HANMATEK HM310T power supply, I decided to give this one a chance. I am very impressed with the performance of this. Very lightweight and it doubles as a bench multimeter. The USB port allows me to control it flawlessly via my computer. It uses SCPI (Standard Commands for Programmable Instruments) protocol which is just serial commands over USB, similar to how Arduino does it. My only complaint is that the main power switch is on the back, making it a little less convenient as a bunch power supply. It's saving grace that there is an output control, and it can be set to on or off when AC power is applied to it. The other thing I like is that it can supply 300W and if you use a higher voltage, the current capacity is automatically lowered. The user interface is also a pleasure to use, and was designed by a competent engineering team, unlike the crap I replaced. Very good value, and I expect years of reliable service from this unit.

The unit is very capable for its price. I was mostly attracted to it because of the 3 decimal place current measurement for the current actually being consumed by the load, and that works well. The interface is a little clunky and not super-intuitive. If I don't use it for a week or two I have to "re-learn" how to drive the thing. To quickly set a voltage (or current) involves multiple button presses and dial spinning (you have to move from digit to digit to set anything), so it is not "instant".As you can see, I still am keeping the (20+ year old) supply that was supposed to get replaced around because it is so quick to dial a voltage with the old supply when just testing simple, dumb stuff.

This is my first "real" bench power supply. I didn't want to spend the extra money for a lower noise "linear" supply, but I think the OWON SPM6103 will work well for me.I am pleasantly surprised at the accuracy of the built-in DMM. The voltage readings on the internal DMM match the readings on my Fluke 87V DMM within 1mV.The power supply voltage increments in 10mV steps, so you can't set it to single mV precision. However the built-in DMM resolution goes down to 0.1mV when the built-in DMM Range is As can be seen in the scope photo, there is some "ringing" (switching noise) on the output, so some external filtering and/or linear voltage regulator could always be used if needed, depending on how quiet the circuit you're powering up needs to be.

It’s UI is nice, but very confusing to setup/control…. too many overloaded functions for the few buttons… Otherwise works great!

I got this power supply today and It looks great. For the fewer buttons it takes a little bit time to learn how to make it work but it is ok. For the most important part, I would expect a power supply of this kind would supply at least a stable voltage. I set it at 3.30V and no load. The actual voltage measured from my meter and its own meter was 3.26 - 3.28 volt and jumping randomly. I let it burn in for at least 30 minutes, and it is still not stabilized. you pay for what you get? I have a much cheaper power supply I used for more than 10 years, it doesn't do that though. Cheaper is not the worst.

Il prodotto risponde alle caratteristiche descritte, peccato che non ci siano le istruzioni in Italiano.Il problema potrebbe essere irrilevante ma non è indicato in descrizione.ATTENZIONE perchè le dimnsioni indicate in foto non corrispondono con la realtà , in particolare l'altezza e la profondità sono invertite.Ho nel carrello altri articoli dello stesso costruttore ma visto la poca attenzione ai dettagli sono dubbioso se procedere all'acquisto.

Works great and the combination with multimeter is nice. This makes the machine a bit more complicated to use, but saves space on my desk. You can use and visualise the power and meter at the same time on screen as well.
