I have one of those anti rattle hitch tightener doodads that consists of a plate with a ubolt and requires tools/time to put on or take off. It works awesome, eliminates rattle 100%. That worked great when I had one hitch and it lived on my truck. Now I have multiple hitches and the tightener is a real hassle to put on and off every time. So, I saw these. Do they work as well? Not quite. But they aren't far off and are SOOO much more convenient. If your hitch doesn't live on your vehicle, this is the way to go.

This helps take the "play" out of my 2 inch receiver hitch. It will not solve the problem if your hitch insert is very loose in the receiver, but it definitely helps the forward and backward motion of the receiver hitch and rattling. Seems very well made with flexible rubber.

enjoy these to firm up hitch and keep it from rattling around when i drive. may need multiple sets depending on how large the gap is between your hitch and your receiver.

Three pack of hitch cushions. Two was more than enough for my hitch. Makes the hitch fit tight and doesn’t have unnecessary movement or vibration.

Really tightened my hitch and almost completely eliminated the clangy hitch noise when hitting bumps, etc. Was enough for me to do my truck's and my wife's minivan's hitches.
