I bought this for its use in preventing certain fumes(spraying big chemical repelkant(malathion) and of course fine particles(sanding drywall, blowing debris around home, working with insulation) from me breathing them in. It has worked excellent.There is no such thing as perfect and when you think you are buying a mask to prevent exposure to viruses, you are fooling yourself. Virus can enter through any mucosa. All filters do not cover your eyes. If you are around someone with a contagious virus, there is no mask that will 100% prevent transmission. So, do not buy ANY mask if you are looking to fool yourself into thinking you are covered from virus exposure. Use other means to protect yourself that I won’t go into detail here about.

I use these while doing mold remediation in Washington State (where there’s plenty of mold!). They have been excellent. The product I use will literally drop you without a respirator. With these cartridges I breath clean air every time

It's tough to be generous here but they get the job done and not much else. These are plastic housed and delicate. I used them to mitigate dust and particles as I cleaned an outbuilding that had a mouse poop issue. They were sufficient to that task. The mask I ordered did NOT come with filters so you are wise if you ordered these with the mask built to use them. Other than that, nothing to write home to mama about.
