Only hiccup was the absence of instructions, but the box contained a flyer containing instructions on how to get the instructions.Set DIP switches to match the radio I intended to install, wired the harness to my new radio harness, and tested.To my pleasant surprise, everything worked exactly as it should. Steering wheel controls worked perfectly.This interface cut my install time drastically. Very happy with the product, and the price on this platform was much less than the local shop.

Bought this to aid with the install of a Pioneer MVH-300EX into my 2009 Silverado. Got everything working including a backup camera, steering wheel controls etc. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Made radio install very easy, except trying to custom program the steering wheel controls (swc). There's supposed to be a way to configure the SWC switches in a laptop, but that app only recognized this interface for firmware updates, which it had none. Also, the turn signal click clack now comes out of the chime generator, but it's a third of the volume that you hear with chimes, and when you can hear it, it sounds like an old mechanical flasher from the 50s.

Did everything I wanted it to do better than the axxcess harness. To be specific, the reverse output didn't work on the axxcess but did work on this unit. Aftermarket reverse cam so didn't get to use the harness for that. Also much easier to "program" than the axxcess harness. Flip a switch or 2 and you're done.

The wiring harnesses work just fine. The instructions are poor and the unit appears to to power on but doesn't work as advertised. Gave up on unit altogether. I wouldn't buy it again.I worked as an Auto electrical specialist for years and know how to wire something as simple as this. Maybe it was just a bad unit but wasn't worth wasting another weekend on it to me.

Excellent quality and excellent service. Got this for my ‘08 Silverado to install an Android head unit. Instructions are clear and easy for anyone with basic car electronic skills. Head unit side wire colours match industry standard so no confusion when hooking it up. Truck side wiring connectors fit the factory wiring perfectly and locked together properly. I couldn’t figure out the Android head unit steering wheel inputs due to no info from the head unit manufacturer. I contacted PAC support via email and got a clear (correct) answer describing exactly how to hook it up the next day. This works exactly as described - all of my truck’s electronic options are preserved and work thru this unit. The steering wheel controls work, OnStar still works (even though I don’t use it), the factory amp and Bose speaker system sound as good as they did with the factory radio and the warning chime volume can be adjusted which is better than factory (the turn signals were very quiet before). There is no stray ignition hiss or other interference in the audio, just clean sound. The small box fits nicely in the center dash behind the AC control module under the radio with lots of room for the wires. If I had one wish it would be for the unit to also connect the factory OnStar mic and provide a 3.5mm plug output option to the head unit side of the wiring so it could be used for hands-free phone calls and voice commands. Given all the other features and vehicle connectors included in this unit, I suspect it is probably not something easy to do or it would be in there.

Lo instalé en una Cheyenne 2010.Los controles al volante funcionan correctamente, controla la iluminación de la pantalla y me permitió instalar una cámara de reversa con la señal de reversa que arroja desde el arnés directo al estéreo adaptado.Lo único que no me gustó es el tono de los sonidos del chimer, pero no es asunto del funcionamiento del producto, todo funciona correctamente.

I have used PAC products in the past especially these interface modules on multiple vehicles. They have never let me down and work every single time. Every time I have used other brands they have had at least something go wrong and then I switch back to PAC. Highly recommend

Hoy lo acabo de poner despues de. Un mes de la compra por falta de tiempo, pero esta algo defectuoso derepente se deja de escuchar una bocita de enfrente, y si agarro un bache como que mete inferferencia en esa bocina que deja de escucharse, de ahi enfuera cumple con lo prometido..
