I bought these in the smallest size. I am 5'3" and these washed and fit like a glove. They are made with eco friendly materials and that is extremely important to me.

So I originally bought these just to wear around the house and as pajamas.. as far as fitting around the waist, they are good.. but stitching in certain spots isnt. One of the pockets entrances for example was sewn smaller than the other side.. had to snip a handful of threads to make it even.. the stitching on the sides is kinda wonky.. but otherwise they fit ok and since im only wearing them here at home they are actually pretty comfortable!

Got these to wear as my pants for some Renaissance Festival costumes and they are great! Well they're great as they're intended to be. Sadly I am well above average height at 6'7" so they stopped right above my boots. But they still worked for the outfits. Very comfortable and have pockets. The pockets aren't super deep but work for heavy items. Draw string is nice and helps keep them where you want it. Not too tight at the elastic and decent mobility in them.

I had seen to purchase a larger size than you need for this. I would certainly agree. I tried it on before washing and felt like I was swimming in it. But once I washed and dried it, it fit great. Still very loose, but not super baggy. Worked great for a pirate ren faire costume, though if you are a guy, I'd recommend compression shorts underneath as it provides no support. It's thin but not see-through, at least when dry. I can't speak for if it would be raining. Pretty comfortable. I'd going to certainly wear them as sweatpants.

I practice Tai Chi in Texas It is almost always hot and these pants are light weigh yet seem like they will last. Get a size bigger. Love the fit. Don’t get these for any hard style martial arts that involve kicking or aggressive stretching. These will not work as a GI or Dobak. They are like cotton pajamas you can wear in public.
