Ever since seeing the documentary My Octopus Teacher I've had a newfound respect for Octopi! So when I was having my house painted, I wanted to get rid of the very pedestrian, plain knocker I had and replace it with something funkier. Just love this. And everyone who sees it loves it too.

The details on this botanical door knocker are perfect. It was a very easy install. I will say that at Knocks every single time I open and close the door it’s kind of loose. But it’s a great conversational piece.

Heavy duty door knocker. We use it to hold a wash cloth by our family white board in our kraken themed room though. Dry heavy duty, so put it in a stud! It’s a great piece!

I'm using this for a towel holder. I hate how gigangtic and plain they make towel holders. It's worth every penny and it's very cute. It's not a big ring, maybe 4 inches. The octopus isn't small at all but it isn't to big. I just love it!

This is an attractive door knocker, I was really excited to receive it. Sadly whilst it looks the part. The fixings don't match, and it has no plate for the knocker to bang against. The handle is also free to spin around and seems really light weight. The octopus is Resin. So I'd say it's more for display purposes. It's not built to last. It would make a fun hand towel holder.
