I've had no problem with these in my Fizz Gizz. I just tighten until the hiss stops. Maybe they are 4mm too long, though I am not sure they are, but I used all of them without an issue, both in my Fizz Gizz and in my portable keg co2 source. I'm buying them again.

The cartridges I received, from Redrock Distributing, were 3.45 inches long. However, Fizz-Giz cartridges should not be longer than 3.41 inches, which is something I learned during an email exchange with the inventor of the Fizz-Giz.If you use these cartridges and tighten your Fizz-Giz until it's completely closed, it can break the pressure regulator component inside your Fizz-Giz!So to use these cartridges, you must be careful and stop tightening when you feel resistance, when there is still a gap of approximately 1mm between the two halves of your Fizz-Giz.This was disappointing to discover, for a product that is advertised as being compatible.In the future, I would rather just use cartridges of the correct length, so there is no hassle and no risk of damage.

These cartridges don't fit the fizz giz. They are worthless to me. Very unfortunate because I sent the fizz giz as a gift with the cartridges included. Why are they listed as being compatible?

We get 4-5 liter size bottles per cartridge. They fit the Fizz Giz perfectly and hold the remaining pressure between uses.
