Worked as expected. The bridge rectifier is one of the most common failures on the corded electric mowers. This is an easy and inexpensive repair. This seller sells these in pairs at a price lower than most sell a single part so, you have a spare. The parts arrived quicker than exspected but, don't count that as they are shipped from China.In several years of using my corded mower, I have never had the rectifier go out while I was using it. It has gone out twice when I have loaned the mower to my daughter and son-in-law. Between the two of them, they could tear up a steel ball with a rubber hammer.The main reason the bridge rectifier will fail is the mower is being overloaded. The corded electric mowers are not made for thick, tall grass. Keeping your blade sharp will make a neater cut and reduce the stain on the motor. If you need to cut thick, tall grass with one of these mowers, raise the deck higher and if needed, cut at the higher setting and cut again at a lower setting. Also, you can cut less than the full width of the mower, like a half swath at a time. Also, use a heavy duty extension cord. These mowers draw a good amount of currant especially when cutting thick grass. A cord that is not heavy enough will cause the motor and the rectifier to run hotter. The heat is what causes the mower to fail. I use a 12 gauge cord.

My Astron RS-35M power supply is from ’94. It originally had two 1N1184A half wave diodes. Voltage drop was appx. 0.25V with 12+amp load. I purchased this pair of KBPC5010, installed them in parallel using 12ga solid wire. I used heatsink compound and attached them both to the bottom of the chassis. Voltage drop is .09v with 12+ amp load. Very impressive.Continuous running @ 13.87 v & 12+ amp load for 15 minutes output is steady and KBPC5010 do not even get warm.I had an old KBPC2502 bridge rectifier. It weighs 29.1 grams. The new KBPC5010 weigh 17.1 grams each.Perfect price for the pair and great product.

I'm happy that all my electric lawn mower needed was this inexpensive part. It works like brand new now. And since this came as a two pack, I'll have a spare on hand. Thanks to the YouTuber who posted an instructive video on how to change the bridge rectifier. I'm glad I did not have to pay a huge service fee to someone or else ditch my mower and buy a new one.

These are potted assemblies in a metal shell that is easy to mount to a heatsink surface. I am not pushing them anywhere near their rated max output but I think the configuration is excellent and the price certainly low enough to buy and try.
