These things work well. They are flex it sturdy. They take a ton of vibration out of the motor and reduce a lot of noise. If I need more I’ll buy again.

The threads are M8x1.25, not 5/16 as advertised. To use these as a replacement for John Deere part# M73249 on a 430 garden tractor you'll have to do some modifications.First you'll need to cut about 1/4" off one end of the isolator if you want to use a factory looking acorn nut to secure the pan to the frame. If you're ok with a nut, you won't have to cut, you'll just have a 1/4" of thread sticking up out of the top of the nut.You're also going to have to replace the factory U nut that holds the isolator to the frame stanchion. Simply pop the U nut off and secure the isolator with a M8x1.25 washer and nut.Don't forget to pick up a M8x1.25 acorn nut too.The isolators quality appears fine. I'm giving it the 1 star review because of the blatant mislabeled size. I knew I was going to have to cut one end down to fit my application. I didn't expect to have to swap out the U nuts on the frame and buy new acorn nuts.

I did have to cut a 1/4" off one end for the cap nuts to tighten up but other than that, a perfect fit.
