Very handsome, portable, black chair.Sturdily constructed too.This is a very good investment for a semi active senior that cannot stand for extended periods of time.With a thick padded seat, I should be comfortable for long periods of time.

Mine arrived in very good condition. It is well-built, the legs are sturdy, and the seat is comfortable. I would say one needs both hands to open and close or fold it up; it doesn't just flop open like cheap folding chairs. The padding on the back and seat is nice.However, I would not recommend it for long periods of sitting, like at a desk for work. The longer you sit (more than a couple of hours?), the less padded it feels. Also, be careful putting items with hard corners or edges on the seat; it leaves a dent mark. So far, the indent marks fade in a few minutes (but it looks odd).

This chair turned out to be good purchase. I do both standing and sitting exercises and I needed a sturdy chair, so I got this. It stays put, does not shake and works fine for exercises, but also my husband uses it occasionally just to sit on & watch TV when his back is acting up - better for his back than a very soft chair.
