Not bad at all. I wouldn’t put this in anything you paid over $250. for. Those are $9.99 5 stars. I put it in one of those carbon fiber donner guitars. Test it before drilling any thing then you need a 1/2 drill, make a hole put a guitar cable through the hole into the body until it reaches the sound hole. Put on the washer and connect the cable and pull it through. Throw on a washer, nut, and the other cover. Peel stickers and place them under the bridge holes like you preforming an ekg. Stick the extra wires to the side so you don’t have to listen to wire rattling around for the next ten years. As I said I put it on carbon fiber so wood would sound different. But it’s not too tinny. Sounds better than most acoustic guitars I owned in the 80’s. Try it you might like it. You can always fill the hole play-doh and move the screw a half inch for your strap hey we put too much pressure on our selves to be perfect Wabi Sabi google… good luck!!

Easy to install. I was a little apprehensive to drill into my guitar body, but they gave great tips for that step

Output was good - I actually had to turn down the volume! Placement took some experimentation but I found the sweet spot. For ten bucks it gets you a functional pick up (albeit a bit fragile). It's not professional sounding but it's good enough for many applications. The only thing wrong with it is the threaded cover doesn't have the same thread size as the jack so I'm not sure what they were trying to achieve there. Doesn't affect sound so no loss of a star for the review.

I used this to be able to plug-in a cheap Hola small Ukulele. It does the job. The sound is quite bright so you'll have to equalize it.Installation: I figured it out but it would have been good to have some instructions or quick tips. I didn't think to pass all the cables from the three microphones through the provided white clip before I stuck the cables in so the cables show (which is fine for my purpose).I can't imagine doing this to a top end guitar, the sound isn't great but it's not bad just to mess around.Quick tips:1. Slide the cables for the microphone pads through the provided clip and stick it in the guitar before you stick the microphone pads.2. I used the provided zip tie to pull the 1/2 inch screw through the hole while trying to screw the outer part in.As soon as I was able to turn it twice, I took it out and then just continued to screw it on all the way. If you already started doing this then the two tips will make more sense haha.

One of the piezo came with a loose solder, so I had to re-solder.Easy to install, but the high notes sounds a little crackling and distorted.

Used two on my upright console piano, replacing the cheaper little black ones I got before, these are a considerable improvement sound quality wise from the rock bottom item.Still getting a bit of a ground hum despite messing with the ground lift on the DI, but the signal to noise ratio is a ton better from what I had previously, nothing I can’t work around. For $10, these are hard to beat. Will not be looking into the $150 option I was considering if these didn’t do the trick

tried it on my acoustic bass to replace a pickup that did work properlysimple installation with instructions from lots of videos found onlinejust ordered 2 more for my acoustic guitarsonly thing tht wasnt so good is the low output but tht's to be expected, so just need to make sure you plug into a pre-amp to boost the signal and you are all set

While this looks very similar to the more expensive three piezo microphone pickups that stick to the soundboard solutions, the three disks are much larger than the ones on the other ones, and for me ended up being way too big for the soundboard on my Yamaha acoustic. I'd be able to put one on, kind of one third hanging off the soundboard, but that'd be it - none of the other ones would fit.I ended up returning. Maybe you can make it work?

Ive put this pick-up in two of my acoustic guitars, simply release the strings from the real bridge, take the rear strap button, out of the guitar, and open that opening to 1/2 inch, so the cable plug end will go through the body, snug up the washer and outer nut. Check the positions inside the guitar near the rear bridge, there are different spots that can be used, then simply restring, tune up and plug in a cable to your amp, your amp volumn will do the rest, and no one will ever know its electric till you kick up the volumn.
