I really enjoyed doing this paint by number! I was worried at first because I thought it looked sloppy but it really came together in the end. I recommend buying your own paintbrushes because the ones the set comes with are not the best quality. Also, I did not like the way it came folded up, it left creases on the picture that I couldn’t get rid of. But it’s ok. And some of the paints were goopy and hard to use but it was not the majority. Other than those few things the portrait really came out stunning. I am definitely going to order more paint by number projects and I’m excited to have a collection. I gave it 5 stars despite the issues because it was fun and turned out really beautiful. I love it.

I am in love! So easy to do and easy to read, I had enough paint. My only complaint would be there are some small areas where there are no numbers so you kind of have to look at the sticker to determine which color to put. The brushes yeah they are cheap but still worked for me . I highly recommend this for any one ages 12+ but I recommend to take your time and paint it solidly and paint numbers 1-4 sometimes 5 definitely need a few coats to cover up the number and line and also I’d iron it before painting to get creases out but once you start painting the creases do disappear!

I used to love to paint and when I was way younger enjoyed doing the paint by numbers. So to pass time I decided to get this to see if I could spark that love that I had tucked away for many years.I really, really, wish it did not say "oil" when it's actually acrylic...although yes, in the product description it does say acrylic, to mention oil anywhere in the titling is a little deceptive.Since, silly me, I saw "oil" I was excited to receive this. When I saw "rinse brushes with water" and smelled the paint I knew it wasn't and realized the medium was indeed acrylic. For these projects I much prefer oil, easier to work with and layer/blend because it doesn't dry out too fast...which could also be a con, but nonetheless what I was hoping to work with.The lighter colors didn't cover the numbers, I'd have had to do layers to fully conceal them.The brushes are your basic, cheap brushes.I still used them as I didn't have smaller head better ones available and if I decide to keep doing projects like this then I'll probably invest in a better set.Up close my painting kinda looks like a mess, but further back can be more appreciated lol.If you're OCD about staying in the lines, good luck. I personally was not and knew I wouldn't fully, so that wasn't a big deal.Despite that I did give it 4 stars.Why?Because it would be good for beginners being it is in acrylic and the clean up is a lot easier.I did put it on my wall, I should probably consider buying the framing to mount it, but meh, it's fine as it is since it's in my bedroom lol.

Wife of account holder here. I purchased the kit with the frame and I'm super happy I did. This design is not going to be as detailed as the actual picture (most pbns from artwork or photos won't be as accurate) but the detail I got is beautiful. I do my pbns differently, I only use metal toothpicks to paint with (old habit from my childhood days of doing these) and the detail really comes out well. If you take your time and use very small brushes you can get some fantastic results.The quality of the paints was fine, there was plenty of paint. Any that were too thick were easily managed by adding a couple drops of water and mixing as I went. I do this several times depending on on how tacky the paint in the pot gets as I keep it open. This really extends the life and use of the paint.The zoomed out photo is in more natural light and the pinkie version was under some purple lighting reflecting off blue walls.

Been having a difficult time getting back into painting. Let me tell you, these paint by numbers are fantastic so far. Gives me an easy target to paint and baseline, then go back in and work on shading etc. Colors are a bit off, but if you understand how they make these kits it's kinda understandable. Getting the right combo of limited colors to get the right amount of definition is tough. I feel like these did the original picture justice. Pro Tips: Get reading glasses, I don't care how young your eyes are, it helps (unless your nearsighted, if that's the case, this is defin the hobby for you!!); buy some better brushes (they don't have to be pricey, I did this full painting with a tiny spotter brush); keep the reference picture and the black and white print out handy while painting, it's easy to get lost after you've done a section and the blue and purple start to get tough to follow late in the painting; if your paint dries out, just add a drop of water, it will loosen up the flow nicely; if you have an old canvas frame, even if it's painted, you can take this canvas and staple gun it over to have a good surface to paint on...I think that's about it. I'd give this a 4 out of 5, since it is a bit difficult at first. This was my first paint by number, and it took me about 2 months in between work and other hobbies. So really not a bad gift for first timers either.Happy painting!!!

I would say that it’s not the easiest paint by number. There is a lot of tiny details. You must have a good sight or a magnifier if you don’t. It took me several hours split between few weeks to complete it. At the end, I should’ve go back to refine some details. It’s only near the end that you see what can be improved by blending more the colour or by sharpening other area. Overall, I’m really pleased with the final result.There was enough of each colours. They were quite pigmented but I had to do a second layer on few places.

Das Motiv ist richtig toll. Das Bild ließ sich einfach und recht schnell ausmalen. Die Farben sind kräftig und sehen wirklich toll aus. Die zu bemalenden Felder sind nicht zu klein.Alles im allem hat es viel Spaß gemacht das Bild fertig zu stellen und konnte mich für mehrere Stunden entspannen. Jetzt fehlt noch der passende Rahmen und dann kommt es an die Wand.Ich werde b asked noch nach weiteren Motiven des Herstellers Ausschau halten. Gerne wieder.
