Great edger for painting walls. I have no talent in painting this created a neat line of paint on the ceiling and corner. I love the extra pads provided. Cuts a neat line. Easy to use. Slip resistant is a plus when handling it. Very durable and functionality. Great tool for painting walls and corners . A must have for untalented painters.

The unit spreads paint easy enough and I like the handle, but the pads would not stay on the unit for very long. You must be very gentle with the application.

I have found these pad applicators to produce a better paint job in less time. When I use them, I don't have to tape off the ceiling from the walls. As long as you're careful and use the proper amount of paint, they coat well and relatively precisely. They work just as well along the trim board, assuming you have some ledge to run the wheels on. These applicators are one of those tools that are so helpful that it is silly not to spend a few bucks on them. On top of that, if you clean them well, they will be reusable for a long time. I also like that they included a spare pad.

This edger was kind of a pain to use. The ball joint didn't stay in place very well even when tightened a bunch and there was like no real mechanism for holding the pads in place for easy install and removal. I'd rather grab a cheap one from the big box store personally.

Does the job. It DOES NOT come with a rod however, most rods from brooms you'd buy at Walmart would fit.
