First you must know the thread size and make sure you buy the right ones. Some quick disconnects made in China don't work with other ones made in a different factory because of some tolerances. I have color coded the ends so that I know that if I plug them in wrong it'll leak when I get to about 3500 PSI or less! Some had the tip longer than others and would not even plug in to the receptacle. They seem to work with the little give and take better than some of the ones that I used my Dremel to shorten the tip and deburr the part that would cut the o-ring!Buy some of these and then buy some from another vendor because you'll end up needing more as time goes by anyway if you're playing with high pressure air. I've had some that work but the o ring would blow so now I have some extra o-rings and silicone grease.

I bought these to add to a set of pressure gauges. The female threads are ok but the male threads were not cut correctly and would not thread in to my gauge hoses. Fortunately I have an 1/8" NPT tap and die set and was able to clean up the existing threads enough to work. My advice to anyone who buys these is to buy an 1/8" NPT tap and die set as well. At least buy the die. I haven't been able to pressure test them yet.

female side works great but the male side is basically garbage it is NOT NPC not even close will not fit in 9 different 1/8 holes i tried basically garbage. threads are either wrong side or a monday crap version for price dose not matter i needed female anyway
