If you hear a clank when you run over bumps, it may be your front leaf spring shackles. Over time the bushing will wear out and the play will be enough for the shackle to touch the frame. Fully unloading the leaf spring and loosening all the ubolts will make installation easier. The brake line on the spindle will likely be stretched out to maximum.
