These are the best fishing shorts I’ve owned, and I have every top named brand on the market. They have all the same perks as the high priced brands such as multiple pockets, quick dry, stain resistant, etc., but MY favorite thing is the fit. I love that they have a hidden elastic band that allows them to stretch and give around the waist while still looking cool and trim, and they fit well in the seat and crotch. No baggy butt! Finally a fishing short that I feel comfortable and fashionable in. I bought a pair in every color.

I ended up ordering these fishing shorts for a weekend fishing trip I had coming up in the Carolinas. I am on a cusp size so I decided to order a xxl and glad I did. The fit is perfect for a 38-40 waist. the material is comfortable to the touch and dries quickly if you decide to accidentally get in the water. The overall length is just below the knee which is the style I prefer. These shorts have deep upper pockets unlike many other brands that fit my XL phone and will not let it drop out when I went to sit down on rough water. The zippered back pocket fit my minimalist wallet in a dry bag perfect. I was a little curious about the reinforced cargo pocket but it did a great job protecting my outer leg from fishing hooks I shoved in there. It also fit my multi tool and razor knife snuggly even when I my brother in law decided I needed to take a swim.Overall I am very impressed with these fishing shorts and have since turned them into my multi use shorts for typical household chores. Will be grabbing a couple more pairs for our next planned big fishing trip in August.

My fiancé wears a 38 but has thicker thighs so we usually buy 40. These shorts in an XL are supposed to fit size 38-40. Ironically, these had plenty of room in the thighs, but even with the elastic panel in the waist, were too small there so I’m having to return them. They seem to be really good quality shorts and they look good, just maybe size up when you order them.

I bought these along with a pair of AFTCO (pricey) shorts. These are lighter and more comfortable. They have lined pockets for pliers/scissors that appear as though they will last a while. I cannot comment on durability of the shorts as I’ve only had them fishing once to date. I did notice that the vented waist works well to not sweat there so much. I would certainly buy these again.

These shorts were great on a short hiking trip along the creek fly fishing for trout. The shorts are comfortable with plenty of pockets and the best part is that they are quick drying if you get them wet. I would recommend them for anybody looking for a quality pair of shorts at a decent price point.

The elastic waistband makes for some of the most comfortable shorts I've ever owned. I bought the first pair and when they arrived and I tried them on I immediately ordered two more. The cut resistant lined pockets are perfect for fly fishing tools like my hemostats, pliers, and nippers. A great pair of lightweight shorts that doesn't skimp on the reinforced stitching where you need it the most.

I was looking for a decent pair of shorts for fishing when I bought these. I’m very happy I found them and will buy again. I’ve gotten fish blood , guts and fish slim. They’ve been soaked in saltwater and sweat and dry pretty quick. This is my third pair !!! I just wish they’d bring black the colors blue gray and tan. I’ve only seen the black recently so I bought them. They are really nice fishing shorts!!!

I like the material which is stretchable which makes it comfortable when you working on baord a boat when space can be a constraint.
