I bought these to put in a bird bath, so that honeybees would not drown. The bees can get water without falling in. No drowned honeybees in my bird bath since I put them in there. They look beautiful, glistening in the sunlight, too. Enhances the look of the garden.

This is undoubtedly an unusual reason to buy these marbles. If you bake the crust of a pie without filling, the crust tends to bubble up from the pan. A friend uses ceramic "go" pieces to weigh his crust down. Those are rather expensive. These marbles are much cheaper. And they survive the baking process without any trouble. Of course it would be bad to transfer them hot into water since that might crack them. Just transfer them to an empty coffee cup and let them cool slowly. They work great!

Three teenagers were coming to visit and I purchased sling shots for each of them. I painted targets with large used pizza boxes and they were used with the marbles. We put the targets on a small hill and the marbles would roll down the hill and they could be used again.. It was a big hit!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks

Do you see this small jar where I am growing some scallions in the window? See that "handful" of marbles in the jar, too? That handful of marbles is what I received in exchange for $8.00 US American. And the bag had a hole on it, but I didn't count to see of even 90/100 were still in there. This company should be ashamed!$8.00 for a handful of "mini-marbles." Yes, they're not even full size, which it doesnt say that anywhere. Should have went to Dollar Store instead! Never again...

What can I say? These are clear marbles. Useful for placeing in the bottom of vases to wedge or hold stems of flowers from moving about. Handy and useful, can be decorative if you use colored marbles. In addition, they are approxmatly 3/4 inche in diameter.
