This unit is great!Just Works No Hums etc...This is Smart switched, monitored, rack mounted PDU with power protection, meaning it will shut off if power goes above or below the thresholds (95-134V)Includes volt/AMP meter, outlet status and warning LEDs, long cord 10ft detachable, 9 outlets, Lan, tel, 2cable/sat protection. In use for home theater in the Livingroom with a Yamaha 5200 pre-amp and 6x Crown XLS 2502 power amps.Main reasoning for buy: The wife did not like to turn on a lot of amps just for a movie and requested a solution which included use of the 12v trigger in the Yamaha pre-amp, and this works like a champ. This Panamax does everything, the BLUBOLT app is a real handy monitoring tool, if you like to monitor your house just buy this one. For monitoring, just plug in a Network cableand make an account, setup is just in 5 - 10 minutes. I think this is comparable with watt box etc. but far cheaper.Just for the 12V trigger I first bought an APC G5 rack power filter, this was inexpensive ($120-ish at that time) with delayed start of the power banks, but I was not able to get it workable with the 12V trigger and the Yamaha pre-amp, I think I am not electrical enough.I looked at other models like the Panamax 5400, but that unit is larger and has 11 outlets vs 9 in this model. Height of the 5400 is like 2U-ish, and I needed a 1U space (height)I looked at Furman CN-1800S, smart sequencer, which is like $250+ higher in price and has almost the same specs, incl smart, switchable etc., but no voltage reading display, which is a requirement for me.Lately power has gone down a lot due to brownouts or repairs, so I connected it to an APC 1500W ups and everything works nicely.

Ordered this to replace an older, identical M4315-Pro that had gone bad. Product arrived in 2 days; several days earlier than originally indicated when ordered. It was well packaged & everything was in good shape. Easy to set up & seems to be working fine.

I have an old Conrad Johnson power amp that likes to hum. It's known for it. It also sounds incredible, so I've learned to live with it. I've tried noise filters, surge suppressors, line conditioners, etc., and it hums. Then I tried a Furman SS6B ($24), and almost dead silence. It was plugged in to a Tripp line conditioner that gave me IR remote control for power, and live was good. Then the Tripp stopped responding to IR commands, rendering it useless to me. Then I discovered that nobody makes a replacement... I just want a remote control, high current, power outlet and I don't trust that $4,000 amp to a $15 wifi doohickey. The Panamax does almost what I want. There is no IR remote, and I haven't found a way to control it locally on my network. Their BlueBolt app is server based, which has me concerned as to how long they will support it but, for now, I just pick up my iPad and turn on/off whichever outlets I want. After a delay of about 5 to 10 seconds, I hear clicks and my amp and sub are on. I can live with this. Do know that it requires an Ethernet cable as there is no wifi. There is also no way to turn individual outlets on or off other than the BlueBolt app; there's a main switch that turns everything off or everything on, but that's it.Update: controller goes brain dead about once a month and the Bluebolt app is useless; need to pull AC to restore it. The only control before doing that is the manual power switch on the front. Definitely not acceptable behavior.

This was purchased and installed by a dealer and used in a closet with a variety of A/V and networking equipment, $30,000 or so for everything. After six years not one piece of equipment in that closet has failed except the glorified power-strip that is the Panamax M4315-PRO. The failure mode is that it continuously triggers the breaker and restarts a few seconds later, cycling indefinitely even with nothing plugged into the outlets. This behavior was particularly unfortunate for some of the attached equipment such as a network storage drive. No help from Panamax; will tell the dealer what happened and hope they will not specify Panamax in future projects.

Be advised if you are and end user (or a non certified Blue Bolt dealer) and you buy this you will not be able to use the remote power control, or monitor the AC usage because you will not be able to create an account at the Blue Bolt site! You must be a certified Blue Bolt Dealer!Otherwise, this is a GREAT unit having surge protection and rebooting of connected devices individually, remotely at will or on a timer (to unlock them or prevent lockups), and receive email notices when certain events occur. You can also monitor your AC use or events that may help diagnose problems.
