Your cart is empty. The Panasonic AG-CX350 4K Camcorder is designed for what Panasonic is calling the fusion of communication and broadcasting. A compact professional UHD 4K camcorder packed with features that you would expect to find in a full-sized camcorder.
The AG-CX350 features a 1 MOS sensor recording in UHD resolution (3840 x 2160), in the MOV format using a variety of data rates including 400 Mb/s, as well as in HEVC at up to 200 Mb/s. The camcorder can also record HD in MOV, as well as HD/SD in AVCHD format for legacy productions. I received a Panasonic AG-CX350E. The E must stand for European. It worked great for a month, then fried itself. No idea how. I sent it to Panasonic, who asked, “where’d you buy it?†When I told them Amazon, 6ave, they said, “we don’t sell through Amazonâ€.Because I got an international unit, and didn’t return it immediately, I’m now stuck with a $2,000 repair bill. Please learn from my mistake, don’t save a couple hundred dollars buying some great looking bungle with cheap accessories. If something goes wrong, you’re going to regret it.I learned this the expensive way. Learn from my mistakes, instead!Past that, as to the functionality of the camera... it’s decent. IO is great. Definitely some fan noise, so you’ll need external audio. The auto-focus isn’t very useful, as it’s mostly locked in the middle or wherever you move the focus area manually. There isn’t face detection or anything fancy you’d get from other vendors. I mostly leave it off.Do I regret buying this camcorder? Yup. Was it a good choice with the knowledge I had at the time? Probably. Would I buy it again? No. Once I get it back from Panasonic, I’m going to baby it, and perhaps sell it. I just don’t trust this thing anymore.
