Works way better playing 4k discs than my Xbox series X can only dream of. I got this because I was extremely disappointed with the Xbox series X 4k disc as a player. It plays Blu-ray and DVDS great but Microsoft has been extremely incompetent when it comes to 4k software support with media discs. This player I got for an amazing price works perfectly with all my 4k down to music CDs yes I'm that old lol.

Would not play any special features on disks, remote features did not work, terribly designed remote control, missing seemingly basic functions such as time remaining (or maybe just did not work). A disappointment to the respected Panasonic name. Had to return.

It plays my movies with no issues so far. The player hums while it runs of course, but quiet enough that it is not really noticeable during the movie.

I wanted this so I could play 4K discs. It’s a good player with no frills. I didn’t want all the apps that come with the more expensive model either. I was a bit disappointed that the upscale from old DVD wasn’t better but overall a good buy.

This is the first time I have bought a refurbished product. I already own a Panasonic DP-UB150 and I love it since it plays all my current Blu-Ray and older DVD's unlike some other products I have bought and had to return. I was not willing to pay full price for a player that is used only occasionally so I took a chance. The only hint that it was a refurbished unit was the wrong size batteries included in the package. The unit was delivered in perfect condition and is working just like the other player that I have. I was totally happy with my purchase.

This was a "renewed" Blu-ray player. I'm guessing it was returned for the same problems I'm having and was just repackaged. It works, but I've had freezes happen on multiple disks and a green line at the end of the screen. I can't be bothered to return as I stupidly threw away the box it came in.
