Bought this as a gift for my daughter. She's used it at several festivals and absolutely loves it. She's always struggled with what to do with the fan between uses, and this solves the problem in a fun and stylish way. The fit is comfortable - even in the smoldering summer - and big enough for different body sizes. While it's designed for the larger fans, it worked for the smaller ones she has too. A great buy!

So, I didn't order this for a fan. I ordered it for a wand. We've done a few wizard world costume parties where you need a wand to complete your character... but then you have to hold is awkwardly in your hand all evening, or shove it in a pocket and risk breaking it, etc. The holsters designed for holding wands are way more expensive than I would spend on a costume accessory (all being custom made leather type things) and these seemed like the perfect alternative.It is! It holds a wand just as well as a large fan. (Actually, you could probably fit 2-3 wands in there if you wanted to.) It fit around my leg perfectly, with a lot of adjustability in the buckles. If you're wearing a belt, you can use that on the top loop instead of their elastic, and I love that I get the choice. Not all costumes have belts, so their 2 elastic pieces are greatly appreciated!The stitching and fabric quality seem nice and sturdy and now I can't wait for our next event!

I got a large galaxy fan for Christmas and needed a way to keep it handy, but out of the way at the same time. When I saw this, I knew I had to give it a try. I was very happy to find out that my fan fits perfectly. The two adjustable elastic belts also make it very easy to customize where & how you want to carry it. The reflective pattern on the outside of the sleeve is pretty cool and make it less likely to lose it.

This is a great holster, that I got to hold a flash-reflective fan I got on accident. Well I had a fan so I might as well have somewhere to put it. I saw this holster and LOVEd the design and decided to give it a try. It has a nice feature that I haven't seen on some other holsters: The top loop has a pinch-buckle so that it can easily be moved or removed from various bags, belts, harnesses or wagons. The bottom of the holster also has a durable thick elastic loop for attaching the included leg straps to top and bottom. Both loops are attached to an additional strip of black nylon webbing strap that is sewn to the back of the holster for added durability and structure. Also the reflective parts of the design are high quality flash reflective fabric and reflect better than the fan I got the holster for.
