Stop measuring your tire with a penny. These are cheap and require no instruction. Green is good, yellow is warning, and red is take a gamble. Do you need 10? Why not? Give some away in the office without explanation and see how many people try to take their temperature.

Tread depth checker is accurate. Great value. Showing signs of wear after about a week of using each day but can still read numbers.

Some items don’t need reviews, but if you need one for a manual tread depth gauge then here goes. Color coded for wear indication, measures the tread depth on anything including, you guessed it, tires! Simple device that you probably don't have. Easy to use and read. Helps you to know when to rotate tires or buy new tires with having to rely on a tire salesperson who has an interest in selling you new tires.
