Pros: The shade range is very precise, including warm, cool, and neutral tones. The dime-sized hole in each page makes for easy matching to face and body. A must for costume designers and makeup artists, the color codes can be used for dyeing or printing fabric or purchasing makeup online.Cons: You’re paying for accuracy of color printing, but not quality of the card stock it’s printed on. Overall, it seems a bit too flimsy for the high price tag. I wish it were either printed on heavier cardstock or the price was under $100. The plastic bolt holding the pages together seems cheap and easily broken, but that’s fine for me, as I plan on ditching the bolt and storing mine in a 3-ring binder so that the pages don’t get bent or tear.EDIT: Unfortunately I had to lower the review from 4 to 2 stars. The whole reason I bought this was for dyeing fabric to match skin tones and after an uncomfortable meeting with a client I was unable to find a match for her using this guide. She said she doesn't typically even wear the darkest shade of any given foundation, but she was darker than anything on this guide. For a company that's entire business is color, it's pretty messed up that they would make a product that won't work for many people of color...
