  • The set features 9 characters (2 silhouettes of the Nutcracker, Marie, Uncle Drosselmeyer, the Mouse King, a mouse, Fritz, Mama, and Prince Charming) and 5 props (a slipper, a sword, a Christmas tree, presents, and a ladder), complete with stands.

  • Our silhouettes are made of safe durable black plastic. This allows them to serve you happily for many years and to put on endless performances with them. They are also easy to sanitize, making them great to use in preschool classes.

  • The playset doesn't include a folding screen or a phone stand. We've created the set as an add-on to our main Papaton Shadow Theater playset. To enjoy the full light and shadow experience, use the folding screen and phone stand from the main set.

  • The mobile app features a full script for the Nutcracker fairy tale, specially adapted for the shadow show, as well as music based on the famous ballet score.

  • You may easily use The Nutcracker playset independently by making shadow shows on the ceiling or on the wall. You may also use the folding screen and phone stand from the main set if you wish.

I have an older child and an infant and was looking for something they could do together. My older son now loves putting on puppet shows for my infant- and she loves watching. It is a great activity for bonding. They also like if I read the story and my son acts it out- or just free playing with the puppets. They have spent quite a bit of time with this toy and it has gone much better than I expected. My son always asks when we can bring it out to play with.

This product contains only props! No flashlight no backdrop. You can download the app but it’s just the story. You have to read the story yourself. Would be so much better if this had a narration. I would not waste your money.

My 5yr old granddaughter absolutely LOVES the puppet theater and the add on shadow puppet pack! We have been having lots of fun playing with it. Sturdy plastic puppets are absolutely perfect for little ones and adults. Wish the puppet screen was larger so we had a larger stage, but otherwise what a great product!

It well designed and the music complements well the story. Please bring more translations (e.g. spanish) to this story! Kids can use different translations to learn/practice new languages.

I’d say it’s a perfect Christmas gift for every child. Script and a beautiful melody are included into the app. Can’t wait to add it into advent calendar activity.

What a beautiful playset to create shadow puppet performance! My daughters love this story and it is a great compliment to the original set. Love it!
