This is a set of 4 paper clip or other supplies for a desk. However, I have an antique desk and I thought these clips holders would have some sort of bottoms in their design to keep these clip holders from scratching all surfaces . Not the case-so I added stick on dots on them but will have to see if the dots stay on the items.Texas Gal

For quite some time now I’ve been at war with the paper clips at my desk. The box they came in had one side cut off so the box could be used as a container for the clips. Doesn’t quite work when you are constantly grabbing and putting back paper clips all day. Cardboard breaks down, and then boom, the paper clips have launched an offensive in the name of claiming your desk as their land. I tried scraping them all into a pile but they spread back out. Some attempted to while I was herding them. Everything I tried was in vein. A bag? They poked their way through. I actually think the cardboard lasted longer. A cup? I have too many of those with liquid in them, I almost drank paper clips four times in one hour. No thanks.I thought they had won. I thought they were just going to roam my desk freely now and forever. But then I found these glorious cups!!! Holes in them so they can’t poke through. See through and short so I don’t mistake it for a beverage! Made of metal so they hold up over time! ALAS! I have won the war on paper clips, and since there’s 4 cups in this package, I have them sorted by size.

Works for what I need it. I wish they were magnetic though. And more easily stackable.
