I have a 30 year old ceiling fan and light fixture in my bedroom that the light fixture starts blinking unless there is enough of a current load on it and four 100 watt equivalent LED bulbs do not provide a adequate load. One of these halogen bulbs in the fixture along with 3 LED bulbs provide a adequate load for proper operation. A considerable fan replacement cost if incandescent/halogen bulbs are no longer available and they are getting scarce except for a few specialty bulbs such as this one.

Bright? I don't even glow dimly.Each time my (current) preferred manufacturer drops out of production, the next best replacement is not a bright as the previous.Too soon to report on longevity.*Sigh*

I need a PAR16 60W bulb for specialty lighting location. Satco quit making these PAR 16 (no. S2201 ). I thought I was going to have to go with LED, but then saw these and decided to take a chance. The Satco lamps barely fit into the can light and so I was concerned these might be too large (diameter) or a little too tall (height), but no worries - they fit perfectly and the light appears to be warm white 2700-2800° Kelvin!

Halogen bulbs are hard to find. Cannot find regular light bulbs anymore!! So I got these and like them. Only things is.. they say in descript they are 60W, but box doesn't say anywhere on it!
