In case you missed it, you can no longer buy cheap (if any) incandescent lightbulbs in stores or online with the government and manufacturer move to LED type lights. Fortunately, these flood light bulbs are still available. We needed heat as well as light for our animal application and these are excellent for our purpose, hanging over our reptile tanks.

We tried these twice. Blew out the first set of 4 bulbs in less than 30 days. Got a replacement set of 4 bulbs. Two lasted lasted 6 weeks, 1 lasted 7 and the final one lasted almost 8. Not near the life span listed on their product.

I got a set of six of these light bulbs to replace some bulbs that had gone dead. My biggest problem was accessing the dead bulbs (I needed and used a ladder). The new bulbs worked just fine. In fact, they are still installed and working.
