Paramount cotton Canvas pads feature 100% cotton canvas that is double-primed with a rich black primer. The acid-free rich black surface has a medium texture to create excellent contrast and good adhesion with most media including oils, acrylics, caseins, and alkyds! Paramount cotton canvas pads are suitable for artists of all skill levels. The primer is acid-free and the surface has just the right tooth to accept paint and allow for building up texture and vigorous working. I bought these to use inside of a frame and I did not realize how great the quality was when I purchased it. I used a sticky stencil that would not work on paper so canvas was my alternative. I have used these sheets for so many projects and only have one left! This is a really great value for someone who is starting out using canvas or someone who is an expert. I highly recommend these!
