No bells or whistles, no temperature sensor. Just a basic REM type pod, however the range is very good. More sensitive than our "traditional" big round REM pods. Highly recommended.

After moving into our house, unexplainable thing's began to happen. We decided to investigate, after investing in some commonly used paranormal investigation gear; IR camera, spirit box, emf meters, then these rem pods. I had doubts about these, as they seem rather cheaply made. But after testing them out, we decided to implement them into our first ghost hunt.It was late at night. I had set up the rempods and invited any "spirits" to touch the antenna. Nothing seemed to be happening, and getting comfortable sitting in my recliner, I started to fall asleep. Suddenly, from the dining room, the rempod began going off! I quicky turned on our IR camera, then somewhat frightened, I slowly approached the dining room. Suddenly, I was attacked! Our young cat, frightened by the immediate loud screeching from making contact with the rempod, tore at my egs with it's needle-like claws. After changing my shorts, and introducing our cat to a life it will now spend outside, I went to bed. I ain't scared of no ghost.Remarkably simple, and economically priced, this is a very good value for anyone wanting to begin paranormal investgations.

The first time I put in a battery it instantly warmed up and smelled like burning wires. Never turned on or functioned at all out of box.

It is not as elegant or feature-filled as TEM pods costing over &150, but for its price, it is very satisfactory for paranormal investigations
